Introducing employee training by Code First Teams

Code First Girls has officially launched Code First Teams, a new enterprise training solution designed to help organisations upskill and reskill employees—across genders and experience levels—creating inclusive workspaces with the critical digital capabilities needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape.

As companies face mounting pressure to adopt new technologies, from generative AI to agentic AI and automation, one barrier remains consistent: a lack of in-house digital expertise. Code First Teams addresses this challenge head-on, offering scalable, tailored training programmes that empower businesses to build future-ready workforces from within.

Three solutions, one goal: Future-ready talent

Code First Teams is built around three core offerings, each designed to meet the specific needs of different employee groups:

1. Business Essentials

Equips non-technical or tech-adjacent employees with foundational knowledge in AI, data, cyber security, and low-code tools. Our courses on AI, data and cyber security are designed for professionals who want to harness the power of data and AI or understand how to use tech tools safely without needing technical or coding skills.

Through practical, real-world training, learners gain the ability to analyse and visualise data, manage data-driven projects, apply agentic AI to streamline workloads and defend themselves and the organisation against cyber threats. These programmes empower employees to make smarter decisions, integrate emerging technologies into their workflows, and drive business impact from day one. Ideal for HR, operations, marketing, and customer service teams looking to boost productivity and decision-making through technology.

2. Reskill & Redeploy

Supports career changers and employees transitioning into technical roles such as software or data engineering, data science, AI and cyber security. This 16 to 20-week programme blends self-paced learning with live instruction, with no prior experience required.

3. Tech Accelerator

Our Tech Accelerator programmes are for existing technologists inside a business and have the aim to boost technical skills to help employees progress or upskill in advanced or critical business areas. This programme supports businesses in retaining top talent through learning and upskilling opportunities, providing clear progression and development opportunities, whilst also deepening internal expertise.

Our courses cover engineering or testing populations who wish to progress into mid-level roles, generative AI specialism, which is great for leaders and our ThreatOps specialism to boost cyber and vulnerability capabilities.

Enterprise benefits that go beyond learning

Code First Teams stands apart from traditional training providers by tying learning outcomes directly to business performance. Our courses are designed to support all staff, at all levels, and across all business units:

  • Industry-led curriculum
Unlock an agile, market-reactive curriculum, delivered by expert instructors.

  • Internal candidate selection
Save time and effort with a dedicated team that will work with you to select internal employee candidates

  • Engage employees at all levels
Our programs give you the flexibility to provide tech training at all levels and across all departments

  • Boosted retention and engagement
    Through inclusive, purpose-driven development opportunities

Real-world impact: From Capital One to CarTrawler

  • Capital One partnered with Code First Girls to advance women in tech roles, offering leadership-focused upskilling to junior engineers. The outcome? All participants earned a distinction, contributing to significant progression in their careers.

  • CarTrawler, a Dublin-based tech provider, used the Reskill pathway to transition non-technical staff into junior software engineering roles—expanding its talent pool from within and improving diversity in technical teams.
